K9 Unit
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office currently has two, dual-purpose canines. These dogs have been extensively trained in narcotics detection, tracking and handler protection. K-9 Demon came to the Sheriff's Office from F.M. K9 and was acquired through the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation grant. Demon is a two year old Dutch Sheppard and is handled by Sgt. Crull. K-9 Titan came to the Sheriff's Office from Vohne Liche Kennels and he was acquired through a generous donation from Nucor Steel. Titan is a two-year old Belgian Tervuren and is handled by Deputy Hechinger. |
